Concerns and complaints

We encourage open communication and take all concerns seriously. If you have a concern or complaint, here’s how the process works:

    1. Talk to the class teacher in the first instance — most concerns can be resolved at this level
    2. Contact the principal for more serious matters, or if your concern isn’t resolved
    3. Contact the board chair for complaints about the principal, or another board member for complaints about the board chair

All concerns are managed in a timely, fair, and confidential manner. You are welcome to bring a support person (such as a whānau member, friend, or lawyer) at any stage.

If you feel your concern has not been resolved, you may escalate it to the principal or board. Once the board has considered a matter, there is no further avenue within the school.

For full details, see our Concerns and Complaints Policy on SchoolDocs, or download the process summary (PDF) →

Fees & Payments

Bank account: 12-3167-0073889-00
Payments can be made via internet banking (please use your child’s name as a reference), by Eftpos at the school office, or by credit card via Hero.
What we charge for
Following a community consultation in 2019, the Board of Trustees accepted the government’s donation funding offer. This means the only costs we ask families to contribute to each year are overnight camps and extra-curricular sports fees.
School donations are eligible for a 33% tax credit. To claim, visit ird.govt.nz and search “donation tax credit”. We’ll always let you know camp costs as early as possible.
Payment plans
We’re happy to arrange weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payments to suit your budget. Please call or email the office to discuss.
